On The Hunt

Addressing a good skin care regimen is pertinent to have a good foundation base. Without good skin it can become difficult to build a good appearance. My objective is ultimately build a great appearance. And we must start with skin care. I would love to range from skin care products to makeup products here so that everyone and anyone can have some insight.

For Lord knows how long I have been on the hunt of finding the best cosmetics that I personally believe work best. Right now, I'm looking for a good foundation base and a decent concealer.

I have been every where around the world and back around trying to find something that will do a decent job. I usually don't necessarily wear a heavy face, although when given the occasion I will slap on my best makeup.

Recently I have been using the Aveeno Positively Radiant Cleanser, in conjunction with it's scrub, and CC cream. Usually I just walk out the house doing so, but if I'm looking to be more presentable I will throw on some of my CoverFX  Cream Concealer to cover any hyperpigmentation and blemishes. Although, ultimately when it comes down to a full face of makeup, that is when I throw on the Kat Von D Lock-It foundation as my base, and then go about finishing the rest of my face.

Unfortunately, as much of a flawless face the Kat Von D foundation provides it is extremely heavy, and as the rep at Sephora said "it is like putting concealer all over your face". But luckily enough, this foundation makes a lot of promises that it does hold up to; matte finish, oil-free, transfer-free, 24 hr wear. It will be excellent for a night out or a long extensive day.

My NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat foundation as my absolute Holy Grail for any other day. It provides me with a flawless, smooth, and natural base. I tend to always come back to this foundation, the compliments prove this right.

I will continue to update my regimen to keep up the most current foundations.
